I was lucky to find such a perfect reflection as this one.
November 22, 2012 in Spokane, WA. ISO:400 Aperture: F/10 Shutters Speed: 1/60 sec. I was lucky to find such a good opportunity to shoot a woodpecker. The shooting process was difficult in trying to get the right focus and the right shot. I realize this is a lot tougher to do when your subject moves too much.
Nov. 22, 2012 in Spokane, WA. ISO:400 Aperture:F/6.3 Shutter speed: 1/400 sec. I edited this picture to be B&W. This shot was not too hard to take, it was just important to get the right focus.
Nov 22, 2012 in Spokane, WA. ISO:400 Aperture:F/6.3 Shutter Speed: 1/400 sec. To get an angle like this, I had to lay on the ground. To get the best shot I could, I had to set and reset the aperture.
Nov 22, 2012 in Spokane, WA. ISO:400 Aperture:F/7.1 Shutter Speed: 1/500 sec.

The different positon of the photo's wer really neat and also every single one of your pictures (to me) tells a certain story that comes to my mind. The critic part of your photos are: aligning them a bit as best you can, look back on some color comparisons and possibly use a tripod. Overall, it was magnificent! ^~^
ReplyDeleteI liked all the unique angles and subjects you captured. Your pictures have a lot more meaning and make them kind of a self-reflection photo. I think you could've cropped a little better and edited your colors so they would blend better instead of having a big contrast.
ReplyDeleteI really liked the detail and sharpness of your photos. I also liked how you had some photos in black and white - and I liked that you kept those sharp and in focus. I think some of your greens are slightly yellow, and some of your photos could be cropped slightly more, but that's all. I think your photos are really brilliant though.
ReplyDeletePro: Your greatest strength is perspective. You have a really good eye for catching things in a way that explains a story and gives off the feeling that your there. My top picture that i absolutely love is your 3rd photo. The grass looks as though its still in motion and there's a lot of textures and leading lines.
ReplyDeletecon: Some photos have spots in the photo that could be more sharp and other pictures that need to be toned down to have that main focus of the photo our main focus.
I think you're really creative with composition and perspective which is awesome. I love how you captured the little stone munchkin path and the bird. You could be a bit bolder with your editing. And there were a few blurry areas that could've been cropped out.
ReplyDeleteAnna I thought that you did a great job with this project you really brought out the feel of nature and made me feel like I was right next to you when you were taking it. I loved Mr. Sutter speed and that you got that moment and captured that photo at the right time. I think that on your photo of the little path the top were you can see the tree in the background it could be cropped out a little. Also when editing make surer that the colors stay natural, like in your wide angle how the sky is a little purple.
ReplyDeleteYour refelction was really sharp! The baby woodpecker was so cute! I loved the trail photo, nand the valley photo. But some of your photos were maybe too bright.
