Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving. One word that can hold so much meaning. It can mean a lof of things, to a lot of different people. For some, its about the food. All the traditional stuff that you've known your whole life. Turkey, mash potatoes, rolls, stuffing, and pie. To others, its about the family. The people that are around you matter on holidays such as this one. So Thanksgiving. What else does it mean?

This Thanksgiving of 2012 was well spent, in my opinion. I travelled 6 hours worth of time to Spokane, WA. Which is where my mom's side of the family currently lives. I had an amazing time tasting cranberry sauce and drinking apple soda once again. You'd think that eating one specific meal every year would get old or tiring, but it never does for me. I loved spending time with my 3 cousins, who are very close to my age. I also loved seeing my grandparents and staying at their home for a half week. Thanksgiving is about being thankful for what you have, no matter where you are in life. I am thankful for my family, whom I get to see more than once, every year. I'm thankful for all the food I am blessed to eat. As well, I am thankful for life in general, because if I did not have it, I would not be able to enjoy and experience these moments in life that we all cherish so much. Be thankful more than once a year! Enjoy the holiday season!
