I found 5 amazing photography sites that truly inspired me.

The first one is called Blonde Cow Photography. The photos on this site are simply breath taking. Each picture is clean and crisp. This photographer focuses on capturing humans and special occasions that they share together. So inspiring!

The second one I found is called simply, Photography Blogger. It is more of a nature based photography site. Also, the photos are edited to be black and white. This adds a dramatic effect to each picture.

The third one is called It's Nice That. This blog has a very abstract, colorful, and artsy element to each photo. Some of them even show a wide range of colors mixing together.

The fourth one is Craig Jones Wildlife Photographer. I love this photography blog because the images on it are beautiful in choice of subject and point of view. Most of these pics are of wild animals , doing something people don't see very often, and from a clear angle and focus.

The last one is called Architectural Photographer Michael Kelly's Blog. This photographer focuses on shooting homes to make them look their best. I like this blog because the photos posted on it have an amazing use of color and contrast. Each photo is appealing to the eye and makes you think how beautiful the home and its surroundings are.

Thursday Thoughts

April 18, 2013 So, this week I edited and finished my cityscape/urban project. I definitely took a bigger risk with this project, especially when it came to editing. I also became surprised with some images that I wasn't too happy with in the beginning. I edited lots of images to make them more strong and bold. I loved doing this project so much. As far as critiquing goes, I didn't get much of a chance to do very much of it this week. Although, I did help Zac out a lot with helping him choose which pictures stood out more than others. I thought it was cool how bold he was in this project.

Genders And Writing

It seems like a logical, but ancient idea that our genders influence the way we write. Someone might say that women write more emotional and men write more logically and factually. While in some cases this may be true, it cannot be said for men and women writers as a whole. The truth of the matter is that it is our culture that influences the way we write. If we grow up in a culture where men are not emotional and women are, the roles will be assumed by each gender. This is not because they simply feel they are emotional or not, it is because they want to fit into society and not be deemed a strange and unique person. Gender roles and personality traits are simply just a part of culture. Honestly, men can be very emotional, and women can not be at all. It all depends on the individual.
